Still, if these norms and customs found their way here, there is reason behind. One that probably has to do with making this run smoothly, which is also directly related to our capacity of hosting a lot of people/groups.

There are many things that we prefer to do in a certain way, but for whatever reason don't make it into the constitution, collective agreements, visitor infopage or any of the signs around the house. This page can act as a gathering place for those things. These norms are not rules: they can be edited by anyone at any time without formal process.

Toilets

  • pee sitting down
  • check after every shit: brush if you gotta
  • if you finish the toilet paper, butt towels or Soap, immediately refill from the Intermediate storage
  • if you finish the menstrual products, immediately refill from the Main bathroom

Bathrooms

  • empty the drain-sieve of the shower after every use
  • make sure the floor is not left wet
  • leave the shower head in its holder, pointing down

Bedrooms

  • if you remove pillow covers, duvet covers or bed sheets, immediately put on fresh ones from the Intermediate storage

Kitchen

Check out Kitchen and Cooking for more info.
