Collect trash around the house and take it to the proper bin.
Destinations
- Green bin for organic waste is in the garden, typically near the private bike shed.
- Blue bins for paper are in the trash corner
- Yellow bins for recycling are also in the trash corner
- Black bins for general waste are also in the trash corner
- Basement K20 is where glass goes, and also containers with deposit (Pfand)
Choosing the right bin may be difficult. General guidance can be found online: English, German.
Special trash
- Electronic trash should go under the table in the electronics workshop
- Other chemicals: place in [WHERE?] and keep it there until until the Schadstoffmobil arrives according to the schedule
- Batteries (fire risk): place outside in the trash corner, cover with a bucket so that they don't get wet. Keep it there until [WHEN?]
Technique
- IKEA bags are used for collecting glass and paper in the kitchen. Replacements are in the washing room.
- Large bags are used for recycling. Find replacements in the washing room.
