Collect trash around the house and take it to the proper bin.

Destinations

  • Green bin for organic waste is in the garden, typically near the private bike shed.
  • Blue bins for paper are in the trash corner
  • Yellow bins for yellow bin trash [this name sucks] are also in the trash corner
  • Black bins for general waste are also in the trash corner
  • Basement K20 is where glass goes, and also containers with deposit (Pfand)

Choosing the right bin may be difficult. General guidance can be found in the Dining room next to the calendar or online: English, German.

Special trash

  • Electronic trash should go under the table in the electronics workshop
  • Other chemicals: place in [WHERE?] and keep it there until until the Schadstoffmobil arrives according to the schedule
  • Batteries (fire risk): place outside in the trash corner, cover with a bucket so that they don't get wet. Keep it there until [WHEN?]

Technique

  • IKEA bags are used for collecting glass and paper in the kitchen. Replacements are in the washing room.
  • Large bags are used for recycling. Find replacements in the washing room.
  • Small liner bags are used to line bathroom bins. Possible replacements are in the intermediate storage. Put a roll in your pocket before collecting the bins.
