What problem to solve

- Visitors often don't know how much space they're meant to claim and how to do so

- Long-term residents get annoyed by unmarked or wrongly marked spaces

- Explaining different systems to each individual visitor is work and they might not remember everything at the right moment

General idea

Choose a set of clearly distinct symbols that are easy to recognize even when small. Define which spaces should or could be claimed by a visitor and create a set of labels/markers in which each location get a thingy. Make several sets to hand out to different visitors. Keep track of which visitor uses which symbol e.g. on the physical visitor board. Collect the markers when the visitors leave.

Which spaces to prepare for

- Towel rack (clothes peg)

- Used dishes shelf (magnet?)

- Private shoe shelf (magnet?)

- Private storage (could even be a new shelf with symbols permanently attached. but where?)
