Special roles for (new) visitors

"New" visitors have little/no experience of the house, and few/no personal connections.

They have an advantage in helping us understand how to design intuitively, not having adapted to our weird ways. Getting feedback from them, especially earlier on, is a precious opportunity to help us improve onboarding for all future visitors. Identifying signs that are outdated/confusing, highlighting important things that got left out of their introduction, etc.

They also have the disadvantage of being least empowered. Here it could be an interesting opportunity to increase "class consciousness", by letting them know who in the house are the next newest, and also asking them to keep an eye out for other new people. Doug (talk) 14:36, 2 January 2025 (CET)
