This page is created to further work on a proposal regarding detergents in intermediate and will eventually hold recipes and overview about detergents used in the house, where to find ingredients etc.

Here is a collection of recipes. They should be as essentialized as possible and contain explanation on what a certain kind of ingredient (e.g. alcohol) does.

I (Liou) propose making the detergent stuff more accessible. Right now it's a mess, most stuff is marked unclearly or not at all. I decided to start the discussion thread on this page because I believe intermediate will stay the place where detergent is stored. Not considered here is washing detergent for the washing machines. It'll be mostly about surface stuff.
- My proposal.
Defining the most needed detergents. Research needed. The detergents commonly used are a,b,c. They will be filled in appropriate bottles and distributed to the rooms where they are frequently used, e.g. during Power hour. The bottles are marked with this information: room, contains, usage, where to refill. They will be put into yet to be prototyped, semi-wall mounted boxes (Proposal: Essentials boxes) To make refilling easy, detergents get premixed and put into 10 liter canisters with a well functioning valve. For premixing we can use our big collection of stuff: alcoholic disinfectant, liquid soap, isopropanol, ethanol, acids, alcalic stuff, other potent stuff. In the process, miscellaneous cleaning stuff will be marked better & assigned to a not conflicting place. So either in it's own shelf or outside of Kanthaus.
To continue the plan, it's necessary to
a) look up information on detergents and how they can be mixed
b) research what should not be mixed together
c) get feedback of at least some people, esp. VolMems
d) choose canisters and (spraying) bottles
e) prototype essentials box
f) design signs
The whole proposal could be thinned down into not putting cleaning stuff around the house. This would be a bit sad imo because this is where I see the potential to make repro tasks easier.
