Get invited to the Kanthaus team
Your host should add you to the Kanthaus team.
Channels on the Kanthaus team
Our main channel is ~kanthaus. ~in-house is intended for people who are currently in the house. ~stuff is about items in and around the house, Vortex photos get posted there. ~exchange is for general discussion not necessarily related to Kanthaus.
There are many other channels. To find them on the mobile app, click the "+" icon top right and go to "Browse Channels". On laptop, go to the bottom of the channels list , click "+ Add channels" then "Browse Channels".

Known issues
This lists the issues we have encountered when switching from Slack to Mattermost:
- No email integration. We have built the MailMirror plugin for that, which could still be improved in many ways
- No support for reminders of events (for instance stored in an ICS file)
- Not possible to fully rename the "Town Square" channel (the id will stay `~town-square`)
