* Don’t put wooden things in the dishwasher! The wood will absorb the hot water, swell and break.
* Don’t put sharp knives in the dishwasher!
* Don’t put fragile glasses in the dishwasher! They will collide and break.
* Don’t put big items in the dishwasher! Pots, pans and bowls are better cleaned by hand as they take up too much space in the machine.
* Don’t put small solid things (like e.g. seeds, pieces of egg shells, coffee beans) in the machine as they can get stuck inside and cause severe errors.

* There are rotating devices inside the dishwasher, which are necessary to evenly distribute the water, which in the end cleans everything. If rotation is blocked, narrow items are placed on the far ends of the cleaning area, or the filter down below is full of dirt, there is no way that cleanliness can be achieved.
* Try and fit as many items as reasonable to still get them clean.
* Please sort the cutlery by kind as it makes the emptying super fast.

If you make everything ready and then press the button <code>Startvorwahl</code> the dishwasher lets you specify a number of hours that will need to pass until it will start. This way you can e.g. fill the dishwasher in the evening and let it run in the morning to make use of solar energy. If you find the dishwasher in this state (where it displays something like <code>8 hrs</code>) please don’t change it to run immediately!
